Charming Hotel with Room for Improvement

Our family stay was filled with challenges, from a broken coffee machine to long breakfast waits. The staff remained friendly and attempted to assist throughout our stay. Best tip, consider visiting during a less busy season for a smoother experience.

Hotel Indigo Old Town Alexandria features charming nautical decor with easy accessibility, making it comfortable for seniors. The location near the waterfront allows for leisurely strolls while enjoying the picturesque views of Old Town's historic architecture.

More lighting in the room would be beneficial.

We loved our stay here with the grandkids! The location was perfect for exploring Old Town Alexandria, and the kids enjoyed the beautiful view of the Potomac River from our room. The staff were friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home.

My kids wished there was a kids' menu available at breakfast.

Unique, boutique-style rooms with noticeable decor that tells a story fill the hotel, adding a personal touch to your stay. The location, just a short walk from local dining and shopping options, makes it easy to explore the area without a hassle.

First off, the lack of guest service attendants is pretty surprising for the price tag—having to haul my bags up several steps and navigate a tight parking garage was not fun. The room felt cramped, more like a droid's quarters than a comfortable space. The coffee machine had limited options. running low on coffee but offering excess tea felt off balance—I'd rather have more coffee packs in the room. With all that said, the lack of a valet or bellhop certainly puts a damper on the experience.

The room had a lovely river view and a comfy bed that ensured excellent sleep. It was equipped with a coffee machine, refrigerator, and flat-screen TV for convenience. The decor was modern, creating a nice vibe. Staff were super keen to help, and we had a delicious meal at the Hummingbird café. Super clean and nice common areas too.

The food scene around Indigo is a total treasure trove! I hit up Fish Market for some fresh catch and enjoyed Mai Thai for a spicy fix—both are just a hop away. The room? Spacious and comfy! Top it off with a stellar, friendly vibe from the staff.

Parking? Bit of a scramble with a small pub garage.

I stayed for 2 nights in a spacious room with great views. The gym was well-equipped and the restaurant offered delicious meals. Service was attentive and cute. The location was perfect, close to many attractions by the waterfront. A fantastic experience! 😊

The location is a standout, just a stroll away from The Fish Market Restaurant and other shops. The room with a lovely river view was a highlight, clean and peaceful despite being in a busy area. Parking was convenient, and the friendly staff, especially Marvin, made a world of difference during our stay.

we had a great stay at indigo. the room was large and very clean, and the bed was super comfortable. it was nice to be so close to the flight path from dca. the breakfast was tasty, especially the lbt we shared. the service was quick and friendly.

We had a lovely time celebrating our anniversary here, especially enjoying the beautiful river view from our room and the peaceful courtyard area to relax in. The only hiccup was that our wine surprise didn’t make it to the room as planned, but it didn’t take away from our overall experience. I’d definitely recommend hanging out around the outdoor space—it’s perfect for unwinding! 😊
